The main tasks of the Board are making constructive, collective and mutual, efficient and righteous decisions and adopting a constructive decision on fundamental issues which are related to the activity of the Ministry for development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including, development of information technologies and communications, using technological advances for the large-scale advances, development of interdepartmental and interstate relations, as well as on projects of significant decrees and orders of the Ministry and the government, and on other related issues.     

In order to achieve a more advanced level of efficiency and quality in the activity the Board directs its decisions to the public and other state institutions that are involved in information technology and communications for the methodological implementation, introduction of market relations and new forms and types of work associated with the IT-industry and market.
